The Challenge

Karaca International sought to improve the performance of selected product pages in the German market by enhancing the relevance of product descriptions. To address this challenge, Karaca International explored the potential of Cypien AI to regenerate product descriptions for selected products in German, aiming to create more personalized and persuasive content. The underlying hypothesis is that hyper-personalized, locally optimized product descriptions would better resonate with users, encouraging more customers to complete their purchase and ultimately increasing the conversion rate.

The Approach

To test the impact of AI-generated product descriptions on purchasing behavior, Cypien AI designed a controlled experiment with Karaca International. Fifty products were selected for the test and monitored over a 30-day period. Product selection followed strict checkpoints to eliminate external factors that could influence conversion rates (such as stock availability, promotional campaigns, or marketing activities.)

For the selected products, a specific user persona - Home Enthusiasts - was defined to guide the content generation process. Cypien AI then regenerated the product descriptions in German, optimizing the messaging to better resonate with this segment's expectations, motivations, and purchase drivers.

To measure the real impact of the new content, Cypien AI implemented an A/B testing framework. Traffic to the product pages was split evenly (50/50), independent of traffic source. The control group was shown the existing product descriptions, while the test group saw the AI-generated descriptions created by Cypien AI when visiting the product detail pages.

The Results

With a balanced traffic split (Cypien AI test group 50.03% vs. Karaca International default control group 49.85%), the experiment demonstrated a clear performance improvement driven by AI-generated product descriptions.

Products using Cypien AI descriptions achieved a 1.37% conversion rate compared to 1.28% for the default descriptions (+7% uplift), while the add-to-cart rate increased from 3.16% to 3.39% (+7.3% uplift), and bounce rate decreased significantly from 23.20% to 17.72% (-23.6% improvement) -confirming that hyper-personalized, AI-generated product content can both strengthen user engagement and drive measurable increases in purchase behavior.
