The Challenge
LTB Türkiye sought to strengthen the performance of its product pages by improving the relevance and storytelling quality of its product descriptions. Traditional descriptions typically focus on technical attributes and features, which often fail to replicate the persuasive experience of an in-store sales representative who explains the product, highlights its benefits, and helps customers imagine using it.
Together with Cypien AI, the challenge was to explore whether localized and hyper-personalized product content could recreate this in-store storytelling experience online. The idea was to transform product descriptions into narratives that not only explain the product but also help users envision it within their natural environment, tailored to specific audience segments—ultimately encouraging stronger emotional engagement and higher conversion rates.
The Approach
As a global denim brand, LTB Jeans primarily targets urban fashion consumers and offers products across women, men, and kids categories. Given the breadth of its catalog and diverse customer base, the brand serves a wide audience of urban, style-conscious consumers—typically aged 18-40—who seek versatile clothing suited to dynamic city lifestyles.
Based on the brand positioning and brief provided by LTB Türkiye, Cypien AI identified the most relevant segment as "Urban Explorers." This segment represents individuals who live an active urban life, move between work, social settings, and leisure activities, and value clothing that reflects the energy and authenticity of city culture.
Using this strategic lens, Cypien AI generated product descriptions and visual prompts inspired by urban ambiances of Istanbul, aligning storytelling with the lifestyle of the Urban Explorers segment. The AI generation process translated product features into contextual narratives that place the product within real city moments—such as commuting, café culture, or evening social life—helping users imagine the product in their everyday environment.
Following this framework, AI-generated descriptions and visuals were scaled across more than 90% of the product inventory.
The Results
After deploying Cypien AI-generated product descriptions and visuals across the majority of LTB’s inventory, product page performance improved significantly across key commerce metrics.
Add-to-cart actions increased by 17.35%, while the add-to-cart rate improved from 5.54% to 6.06% resulting in a +9.4% uplift. This increase in engagement translated directly into sales impact, with purchased items rising by 28.82% and purchase rate improving by 27.68%. This demonstrates that hyper-personalized, AI-generated product storytelling can substantially enhance both customer engagement and conversion performance in fashion e-commerce.
